Abstract

This study aims to determine the costs, income, and feasibility of tobacco farming of the Gombel Kenongo variety in Sangup Village, Boyolali Regency. The research method uses descriptive methods. Sampling of respondents using a random method based on land area obtained as many as 30 tobacco farmers. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and recording. The total cost required for one planting season with an average area of 0.430 is Rp. 1,826,668 with an income of Rp. 13,693,641 and a profit of Rp. 11.853641. Tobacco farming of the Kenongo gombel variety in Sangup Village has an R/C of 2.56, therefore this farming is feasible because the R/C value is greater than 1.
