Abstract
Building construction project work has a large risk impact. Therefore, the use of personal protective equipment is very necessary to reduce the risk of work accidents. In the contruction of the Student Dormitory building project, there are still many works who do not understand the importance of personal protective equipment. This study aims to review and analyze the impact or consequences of the risk of work accidents on the construction of the student dormitory building project University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Method in his study is a qualitative method. The overall result of the risk of work accidents obtained for the lowest scale is preparatory work, with a scale of 7.91 and the highest is foundation work with a scale of 12,52. The level of risk of work in the student Dormitory building construction project has a “Medium Risk” level. The k3 team must be more strict with workers who do not follow the rules that have been determined.
