Abstract
The rapid development of healthcare services is a challenge for
hospitals in facing progressively open and free competition. Proper human
resource management is needed to compete in increasing productivity. In
terms of Human Resources (HR) management, the Aisyiyah Klaten Hospital
does not does not yet have an integrated and comprehensive employee
performance measurement. Regarding these conditions, this study was
conducted to measure employee performance using the Human Resources
Scorecard (HRSC) approach.
HRSC is a Balanced Scorecard with a Human Resources (HR)
approach where Key Performance Indicators (KPI) will be compiled based
on 4 (four) perspectives, namely: Financial Perspective, Customer
Perspective, Internal Business Process Perspective, and Learning and
Growth Perspective. This study used a quantitative approach with a crosssectional research design. The data was collected using questionnaires,
document review and the Consensus Decision Making Group (CDMG). The
research population comprised of 256 employees of the 'Aisyiyah Klaten
Hospital. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling with a
convinience sampling method of 100 respondents.
In results of HRSC research shows that employee performance is
acceptable to score at 4.03. From the Key Performance Indicators for each
view, this study showed that the Internal Business Process perspective,
employee performance is at an excellent score of 1.24. For Financial
perspective, employee performance is at a satisfying score of 0.8.
Furthermore, employee performance for Customer perspective and Learning
and Growth perspective depicts good score at 1.19 and 0.8, respectively.
