ANALISIS PENERAPAN AKAD SALAM PADA SISITEM DROPSHIP AGEN JAM TANGAN DWATCH COMAL

This research was conducted to analyze the implementation of trading carried
out by the drop shippers of Dwatch Comal watches from the perspective of
trading using salam contract (bai' as-salam – a system of trading in which a
product has not been given directly when the payment is done). This research
aims to find out how to apply the salam contract buying and selling system in
accordance with Islamic rules. This study employed qualitative research method.
This research was a field research. The primary data source in this study was
Dwatch consisting of Dwatch owners and drop shippers, consumers and the
Sharia Supervisory Board. The data validity technique in this study used source
triangulation techniques. The research results taken from the implementation of
buying and selling with a drop shipping system carried out by the agents or the
drop shippers of Dwatch Comal watches reveal that from the perspective of
trading using salam contract (bai' as-salam), the implementation of the dropship
system done by Dwatch watches is not fully appropriate based on the trading
terms in salam contract. The discrepancy is found in the payment system. The
agents or the drop shippers sometimes allow buyers to make payments at the end
or at the time of handing over the goods. It means that if the payment is made at
the end, the buying and selling is not in accordance with the buying and selling
terms of salam contract. It proves that improvement in the payment system.is
needed when it is seen from the perspective of salam contract.
