PERBEDAAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM SIANTARA SISWA YANG AKTIF DENGAN SISWA YANG TIDAK AKTIF DALAM MENGIKUTI ORGANISASI IKATAN PELAJAR MUHAMMADIYAH (IPM) DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANJARNEGARA

This research entitled the difference of Islamic Education class academic achievement
between the students active in and those non-active in Muhammadiyah Student
Association (IPM) at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarnegara. This research used
quantitative and qualitative methods with a comparative approach. The objectives of this
research are to 1) analyze the Islamic Education (PAI) class academic achievement
among students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarnegara, 2) to analyze the difference of
Islamic Education class academic achievement between the students active in
Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) and those who are not active in
Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM).
The research results showed that 1) The PAI mean average score of the students of SMA
Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarnegara participating in the research fell into a good category as
referring to the designated passing grade (KKM) at SMA Muhammadiyah 1
Banjarnegara. 2) There was a different PAI academic achievement between the students
active in Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) and those who are not active in
Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM). It was proven from the t-value at the Sig.
table (2-tailed) which was smaller than 0.01, that was 0.000.
