Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correct balance of Bagasse Aren Compost with a mixture of Azolla and N fertilizer from Urea on the growth and yield of soybeans. This research was conducted in the experimental field of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and the Green House. This research was conducted using a single factor design arranged in a Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL). The treatment tested was the balance of N sources from urea and palm bagasse compost with a mixture of azolla. The treatments were as follows: 100% Urea + 0% palm bagasse compost (U100K0), 75% Urea + 25% N Palm bagasse compost (U75K25), 50% Urea + 50% N Palm bagasse compost (U50K50), 25% Urea + 75% N Compost palm bagasse (U25K75), and 100% N Compost palm bagasse (U0K100)). Bagasse Aren Compost with a mixture of Azolla can effectively substitute N for the use of urea and produce good growth and yields on soybean plants, while the effectiveness of Compost Bagasse Aren with a mixture of Azolla in N substitute for the use of urea can reach 100% at the treatment of 0% Urea + 100% Compost palm bagasse.
