Abstract

This study aims to determine the motivation of grape farmers towards grape village agro-tourism, and factors related to farmers' motivation towards grape-village agro-tourism in Sumbermulyo Village. The research location is in Sumbermulyo Village, Bambanglipura District, Bantul Regency (purposive sampling) which is based on an area where the village already has agricultural tourism and has been visited a lot. Determination of respondents based on the category of farmers (grape farmers and residents of Sumbermulyo Village) was carried out randomly, namely 40 farmers. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and Spearman Rank correlation analysis. The results showed (1) the motivation of grape farmers towards grape village agro-tourism in terms of the motivational relationship of physiological needs was included in the high category with an average score of 3.88, judging from the motivation for the relationship of safety needs was included in the medium category with an average score 3.51, judging from the motivation for social needs, it is included in the high category with an average score of 4.28, judging from the motivation for the relationship, esteem needs is included in the high category with an average score of 4.23, judging from the motivation for self-actualization relationships included in the high category with an average score of 4.1. So it is known that the motivation of grape farmers towards grape village agrotourism in Sumbermulyo Village can be said to be high both in meeting primary needs, security, social, appreciation and selfactualization. (2) Factors related to the overall motivation of farmers are the role of farmer groups, the role of the government, access to information, and visitors
