Abstract
Negative Pressure Calibrator is a calibration tool that is used to determine whether or not
the Suction Pump is worthy (Negative Pressure), this module can also calibrate the
Sphygmomanometer (Positive Pressure). Suction Pump is needed post-surgery so the accuracy of
this tool must be high. Human breathing is very important, therefore the suction pump must be used
according to the procedure and is safe. Checking the right tool so that the tool is more accurate and
accurate, if the suction pump does not match well, it will cause pressure deviations that are not in
accordance with the standard. If operated on the patient's body there will be an error in negative
pressure and can cause excessive fluid output. This module is equipped with automatic reading of
room temperature and humidity by the SHT11 sensor, positive and negative pressure modes. The
display used in this module is a 5.0 inch TFT LCD Nextion, where the programming is based on
Arduino as a whole, and uses the MPXV4115VC6U sensor as a negative pressure sensor. The results
of the Negative pressure parameter test obtained an average error of 0.19% at the pressure setting of
-100 mmHg, while at the -200 mmHg setting an average error of 0.03% was obtained. The results
of testing the Temperature and Humidity parameters obtained an average error of 0.18% for indoor
measurements of approx. 0.06%, while for outdoor humidity measurements obtained an error of
0.102%.
