Abstract

An electric saw or a medical gypsum plaster saw is a medical device that is
used when removing gypsum plaster from parts of the patient's body after recovering
from fractures of the hands or feet by utilizing the rotation of an induction motor. An
induction motor is an alternating current (AC) electric motor that works based on
the induction of the stator magnetic field to the rotor, where the rotor current is not
obtained from a particular source, but is a rotor induced current with a field
generated by the stator current. Gypsum plaster saw saw research conducted by the
author for speed regulation using the footswitch mode commanded by the driver. The
microcontroller is the brain of the control system and the results of the command
reading will then be processed to be displayed on the LCD display to determine the
value of the rotational speed
