Abstract
One of the methods used to get rid of cellulite is by performing diathermy frequency therapy
using a short wave of radio frequency of 2 MHz which is emitted through a probe rubbed on the skin
surface. On this basis, the authors designed a therapy device as difficult as using a medium radio
frequency. This therapy device is also equipped with a buzzer that functions as an alarm and there
is also a timer that aims to regulate the length of the therapy process. When the therapy process has
reached the time limit that has been set, the buzzer will sound and the probe used will automatically
turn off. This therapy tool is focused on the fat contained in the body part, especially under the skin
where the heat effect generated from the therapy device will destroy the excess fat in that part of the
body. After testing the tool, the radio frequency results are 2,012MHz and the temperature is
34.72°C. The next test was carried out on adults (the arm), after doing therapy with the device,
visually, cellulite was seen to fade and the arm circumference to shrink. It can be concluded that
this cellulite therapy tool works well, is able to reduce cellulite on the user's body.
