MANAJEMEN PRODUKSI FILM DOKUDRAMA “TOEDJOEH KATA” KARYA MM KINE KLUB UMY PADA TAHUN 2017 (Studi Kasus Manajemen Produksi Film Dokudrama “Toedjoeh Kata”)

This study aims to describe the production management of the short film
"TOEDJOEH KATA" by MM Kine Klub UMY 2017. This type of research is
qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are
interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with three informants
related to the production division of film management. The results show that preproduction is done by determining the idea or premise that is told into a film. The
main idea is then developed by conducting research in the form of documentation
and interviews which are then compiled into a series of stories in a script or
scenario. At the production stage of the Toedjoeh Kata film, it is carried out based
on the plans that have been made. This can be achieved through briefings or
interviews as an effort by producers to remind them of the duties and roles of each
group and the activities carried out that day. These are actions that can be taken in
production operations to minimize the possibility of failure in the production
process. The final step for Toedjoeh Kata's film production manager is postproduction. This step is the longest in the Toedjoeh Kata film production
management process. This is because it needs to be revised to produce highquality films.
