Abstract
This study aimed to analyze kanji and jukugo with te hen. The method used
in this study is qualitative descriptive. Video analysis on Sekai no Hanno
Channeru uses kanji content as much as 20 videos. Then, the kanji content is
analyzed and grouped by the bushu te hen. Through grouping, researchers then
analyzed the meaning of kanji and jukugo that have bushu te hen. After that, the
kanji and jukugo meanings found will be matched based on the basic meaning that
has meaning related to the hand. The results of the study found a single kanji with
te hen in the Youtube channel as many as 10 different kanji types and found 18
kanji jukugo (combined 2 kanji) with te hen. From these results, it can be
concluded that all single kanji and jukugo with bushu te hen found in the content
of Sekai no Hanno Channeru directly or indirectly have the basic meaning of the
hand (te).
