Abstract
Many aspects of life are supported by electrical energy, including health
aspects. In the health sector, electrical energy has become an absolute necessity for
the continuity of medical activities. The use and installation of units with proper
electrical needs is very important to be applied by the hospital. If the pattern of use
or the specification of the unit that requires electrical energy is not correct, it can
result in waste of electrical energy consumption. Therefore, research is needed to
find out and provide solutions if these problems occur.
In this study the methods used are literacy studies, observation, and analysis.
This study aims to find savings opportunities and simple payback period (SPP) from
savings efforts by analyzing the suitability of measurement results and installation
data against predetermined standards and based on calculation results.
The results show that there are savings opportunities in the air conditioning and
lighting system by replacing the air conditioning unit and lights. In the air
conditioning system, there are 3 scenarios of saving efforts where the first scenario
shows a savings of 3700 W, investment costs of Rp. 245,682,000, and SPP for 6
years 8 months 2 days. The second scenario shows a savings of 475 W, investment
costs of Rp. 120,132,000, and SPP for 25 years 8 months 26 days. In the third
scenario, it shows a savings of 3225 W, an investment cost of Rp. 125,550,000, and
SPP for 3 years 11 months 20 days. Efforts to save on the lighting system show
savings of 3654W, investment costs of Rp. 31,504,500, and SPP for 1 year 3 months
