Abstract
Fictitious GrabFood orders or food orders canceled by Grab users after the
driver has made a food transaction at the destination restaurant and has traveled to
the destination, but no one has ordered food after arriving at the destination. Grab
users create fake Grab accounts to place fictitious GrabFood orders. This study
aims to determine the prevention efforts for the crime of fictitious GrabFood
orders by the Community Development Unit (Sat Binmas) at the Yogyakarta
Police and Legal Settlement Through Restorative Justice Crimes of Fictitious
GrabFood orders at the Yogyakarta Police. This research is a normative legal
research. The results of the study concluded that the steps taken by PT. The
Indonesian Transportation Solution (Grab) in tackling the crime of fictitious
orders is by deactivating the accounts of Grab users who commit fictitious
GrabFood orders. The Community Development Unit (Sat Binmas) at the
Yogyakarta Police in tackling the crime of fictitious GrabFood orders by
providing appeals and socialization to Grab drivers based especially in the
Yogyakarta city area and through social media. The conclusion in this study is
that the perpetrators of fictitious GrabFood orders are suspected of violating
Article 35 of Law Number 19 of 2016 Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008
concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).
