Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of land conversion to sosial economic farmers. The
subject in this study was farmers who had impact of the development of Yogyakarta international
airport in Glagah Village, Temon Sub-district, Kulon Progo Regency. In this study, sampel of 89
respondent were selected using purposive sampling. Analysis tool used in this study is willcoxon match
pair test, and the results of the wilcoxon match paired test were supported by descriptive analysis.
Based on the analysis that have been made the results are land conversion significantly influence land
ownership pattern, welfare level, social interaction, social conflict, livelihood, income variables before
and after the construction of the airport.
