IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH KOTA BEKASI DALAM MENANGANI KASUS KEKERASAN PADA ANAK TAHUN 2020 (STUDI KASUS DINAS PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN DAN PERLINDUNGAN ANAK KOTA BEKASI)

Children become the next generation who will later realize the ideals of a country brings
changes in the country to a more advanced direction, quality a country can be influenced by the
quality of children ranging from education obtained, parenting, environment. Too bad
unfortunately against children is still rampant, even increasing every year violence rate. The
increasing number of violence against children shows that that Indonesia is a country that is
prone to violence against children. Violence against children in Indonesia is increasing every
day for. The Bekasi City Government has taken firm steps in grip on cases of violence against
children through the Bekasi City Regional Regulation Number 12 of 2012 concerning the
Protection of Women and Children and after That was the issuance of Bekasi Mayor Regulation
No. 19 of 2013 as follows: instructions for all activities of the regional regulations. Handling
cases Violence is divided into two, namely handling efforts and prevention efforts. The number
of child abuse in Bekasi City continues to increase every year. To be able to find out the causes
of the increase in child violence rates in the City, Bekasi and how to implement the policies
previously made for grip of cases of child abuse this research was conducted. Research
conducted in Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Bekasi City, Jl. A. Yani
No.1, RT.001/RW.005, Marga Jaya, South Bekasi District, Bekasi City West Java province.
This study uses a qualitative descriptive model or describe the existence of violence in children
who experience increasing every year even though the government is already handling these
cases by issuing several policies. The results showed that implementation of policies carried
out by the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection related to handling cases of
violence that occurred in children in Bekasi City can be said to be quite good. High violence
rate in children is caused by many people who are starting to dare to report incident to the party
in charge, so that the incident that has occurred reported a few months ago.
