Abstract
Multi-hazard, also known as multi-disaster, is a combination of disasters,
both natural and man-made, that have the potential to damage infrastructure and
the environment and cause economic, social, and societal losses. The purpose of
this study is to assess the level of danger and vulnerability of the Progo watershed
area to the potential for multiple disasters. This study is a combination of
descriptive research and a review of the literature. The vulnerability assessment
refers to the BNPB Head's Regulation No. 02 of 2012 on Disaster Vulnerability
Assessment. The scoring and weighting methods, as well as the overlay method, are
employed. In the Progo watershed area, the results of the subsequent analysis are
presented in the form of a hazard level map and a multi-hazard disaster
vulnerability map. As a result, most areas that are prone to experiencing multiple
disasters or multi-hazards in the Progo watershed are on average included in the
high vulnerability class.
