Abstract
This study aims to find out how to analyze the evaluation of learning in MA
Negeri 2 Yogyakarta and analyze the inhibiting and supporting factors faced by
teachers in evaluating the learning of aqidah akhlak (faith and morals). This study
uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were two
teachers of aqidah akhlak at MA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The data collection
techniques in this study used interviews as the main data and documentation as
supporting data. The results showed that the process of evaluating the learning of
aqidah akhlak was carried out through three stages: planning, implementation,
and assessment in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. In the
planning stage, the teacher has determined the method and form of evaluation
carried out. In the implementation stage, the teacher uses a variety of learning
media. In the assessment stage, the teacher conducts an assessment through the
tasks and daily lives of students. In addition, MA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta has a
"Yaumiyah" system, which is in the form of a report of the students’ prayers that
is used to support evaluation. The obstacle faced in evaluating learning at MA
Negeri 2 Yogyakarta is the difficulty of teachers to assess in terms of affective
and psychomotor because affective values are obtained only through attendance
