Abstract

Investment Opportunity set (IOS) is a future investment options and very important in firm financial theory. This research aim to know empirically effect between investment opportunity set (IOS) with financing policy, dividend policy, and profitability. Sample for the research is manufacturing and non-manufacturing business of go public in Jakarta Stock Exchange except bank and financial companies in 2003-2005. Our result are based on sample criteria of 59 firms. In measuring research variable we used PLS model (smartPLS). Result of research indicate that, coefficient between investment opportunity set (IOS) with financing policy is negative significant with estimate value -0,195 and T-statistic 3,657 > T-table (1,96). But investment opportunity set (IOS) with dividend policy is not significant with estimate value 0.089 and T-statistic 0,877 < T-table (1,96). Result for investment opportunity set (IOS) with profitability is insignificant too, with estimate value 0,084 and T-statistic 0,563 < T-table (1,96).
