Abstract

This study aims to see the learning of iqra, analyze the implementation of
the Fun Qur'an method, and see the Fun Qur'an strategy in PAUD Terpadu
Basmalah School Yogyakarta.
The author used a descriptive qualitative approach at PAUD Terpadu
Basmalah School Yogyakarta in June 2020. The subjects in this study were two
Islamic education teachers and the principal. The data technique uses the method
of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was performed
using data reduction, data presentation, and data levers.
The results of this study show that learning Iqra 'at PAUD Terpadu
Basmalah School Yogyakarta, namely: Iqra' learning is good, but there are still
children who are not able to read fluently. The implementation of the Fun Qur'an
method in Iqra learning has been implemented by teachers in schools. The method
is by introducing hijaiyyah letters to children by sticking or decorating the walls
of the school building with various kinds of hijaiyyah letters and listening to the
murottal Al-Qur'an in the morning before starting school activities. The total Fun
Qur'an strategy has almost no drawbacks. There are three strategies used: First,
giving rewards in the form of prizes. Second, spiritual children with speech.
Third, listen to the murottal Al-quran every morning before carrying out school
activities.
