Abstract
This research examined factors that becoming the main consideration of new students who study in the Faculty of Economic, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Sampling method that used on this research is Stratified Proportional Sampling. This research used 40 variable derived from 7 factors of marketing mix : product, price, place, promotion, people/ personal traits, physical evidence and process. Data analysis used confirmatory factor analysis. The result shows that there are 4 factors emerged as a new factors : student facilities, organization, status and students activity. The main factor that most considerated by student in choosing Faculty of Economic is student facilities.
