Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the need of achievement (n-Ach) on the effect of
self efficacy on employee performance. The subjects in this study were temporary staff of the
Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. In this study, there were 153 questionnaires
distributed, and only 70 questionnaires could be processed. The data obtained was then
processed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 16.0 software. Based on the
analysis that has been done, the results show that the self efficacy variable has a significant
positive effect on (n-Ach), (n-Ach) has a significant positive effect on employee performance,
self efficacy has a positive effect on employee performance and (n-Ach) mediate the
relationship of self-efficacy to the performance of employees "accepted
