PEPEMBERITAAN MEDIA PADA KASUS TERGELINCIR DAN TERBAKARNYA PESAWAT GARUDA INDONESIA DI YOGYAKARTA

The lapsing and buming disaster of Indoncsian Garuda Airline's Plane No. GA-200 in Adisucipto Aitport Yogyakarta, 7th March 2007 last time have not passed by the public audience especially for press agent. A lot of news about lapsing and bumt disastcr of lndonesian Garuda Airline is launched by mass media, this is showed by a number of news by mass media about this case. Every issue have been interesting and up to date perceived by a mass media, so that it's can be placed as headline news. As thc reality, the service held by Garuda 1ndonesia is interested and trusted by the public passengcr because Garuda Indonesia have not experienced the accident cause many pass away victims before. According to Kompas source, 8th March 207, the flight of Indonesian Garuda Airline has successfully booked on the record by the safety list as 16ng as 10 years. This research conducted on Headline of Kompas and Rcpublika during 8th of March to 10th of March 2007. Whether was Kompas and Republika framed this news about the lapsing and burnt case of Indonesian Garuda Airline's plane was main problem of this research. The objective of this research was to find tho reality struchtre by Kompas and Republika on the case of lapsing and bumt of Indonesian Garuda Airline's plane on 7th of March 2007 exactly on 06.55 ank in Adisucipto airport Yogyakarta. This research commited analysis on Text data namely the headline of Kompas and Republika. The text data treated as qualitative according to the framing data analysis. The framing data analysis method in this researcb used the framing model by Zhingdan Pan and Kosicki. It's consisted on 4 dimentions, e.c., sictaxix, script, by thcmc, dan rhetorical. Kompas interpreted the accident of Indonesian Garuda Airlinc on 7th of March 2007 was one of the strip of the many disaster that happened. Kompas also assummcd that the strip of the disaster is the govemment responsibility. While Rcpublika interpreted the accident of Indonesian Garuda Airline occurred because human error factor. And it pointed to critical attitude on Hatta Rajasa's performancc as the Minister of Communication.
