ANALISIS ISI ADEGAN KEKERASAN DALAM FILM RAMBO I RAMBO II RAMBO III DAN RAMBO IV

The research anylizes the violence scenes that are presented in the Rambo Rambo II, Rambo III and Rarnbo IV movies. The objective of this study is mainly to observe what sort of violence presented in those movies and which of those violence that visually dominating through out the movies. Quantitative approach is the research method applied in this research wherein the theoritical framework identifies communications as message transmission process in positivistic paradigm. The result of the investigations shows that Rambo Movies contains two type of violence : Non-verbal Violence and Verbal Violence. Beating, kicking, killing, slapping, stabbing, shooting, torturing, assaulting, blasting, overwhelming, and fighting are examples of Non-Verbal Violencevisualized in the motion pictures. Whereas Verbal Violence are such as threating, insulting,and flattering. From the whole analysis, approximately 94,5 % of Non-Verbal and 5,5 % of Verbal voilence had been illustrated in the movies. Specially, shooting and
