Abstract
Students competencies will determines the transition point between structured
educational experience in a professional program and patient-oriented selflearning linked to professional practice. IPE core competencies consist of
four domains: Values for inter professional practice, roles or responsibilities,
inter professional communication, teamwork. By understanding these four
core IPE domains comprehensively, the ability and collaborative attitude
among health professionals has greatly improved. The objective of this
research was to find out the differences in the competency scores of inter
professional collaboration among health professional students at the
Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. This research method used a cross
sectional study using a comparative study research design. Respondents are
professional students of FKIK UMY who have implemented the IPE
program. Includes the General Medicine Professional Study Program, the
Dentistry Professional Study Program, the Nurse Professional Science Study
Program and the Pharmacist Professional Study Program. Testing was carried
out by filling in the Interprofessional Attitudes Scale (IPAS) questionnaire in
the form of an online questionnaire (which is distributed through online
communication media and questions. media such as WhatsApp, email, and
others as needed). The results of the research analysis using the KruskalWallis One Way Anova formula using the SPSS program. ResultsThe
interprofessional education process at FKIK UMY has been running quite
well or quite maximally because of the five indicators that refer to the
interprofessional collaboration competencies that become the assessment,
namely indicators of team work, roles and responsibilities, interprofessional
bias, diversity and ethical, interprofessional and community-centered bias is
only one indicator that shows a difference in value, that is, a patient-centered
indicator. These differences were found in the Professional Nurse study
program and the general medical profession study program.
