PERBEDAAN PENERIMAAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP ANAK SEKOLAH DIDAERAH PERKOTAAN DAN DAERAH PEDESAAN

The acceptance of the parents is the behavior of parents to children with all their attitude and giving warmt, love by verbal and non verbal. One of acceptance and rejection factor of parents to children can be observed from aducation and aconomy social statue of parents. The research of statistic central intitusion desides that 80% of indonesion poor comunity live in village. The children parents who have low aducation and economic statue found in the village area and the children of the parents who have midle and hight aducation and economic statue found in the city. So, the purpose of the research is to know there is or not the acceptance of parents to elementary basic school children in the city and village area.

The method of research observational by cross sectional study, the subject of the research is 64 elementary basic school students devided in two groups, 32 students of muhammadiyah elementary basic school suronatan and 32 students of elementary basic school payak. The data of research analyze by chi-square test. The result of chi-square tes analyze shows that there is significancy between the difference relation acceptance of parent in the city and village area with P

value=0,035 (P<0,05).

The reseach can be concluded that there is the different acceptance the parents to elementary basic school student in the city and in the village area.
