ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui kinerja pengawas; (2) mengetahui profesionalisme guru; (3) mengukur hubungan antara kinerja pengawas dengan profesionalisme guru pendidikan agama Islam sekolah dasar se-Kabupaten Bantul.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian diskriptif kuantitatif model korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 9 pengawas dan 492 guru pendidikan agama Islam sekolah dasar se-Kabupaten Bantul. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan area probability sample, dengan jumlah 36 guru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi product moment.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) kinerja pengawas pendidikan agama Islam se-Kabupaten Bantul berada pada kriteria baik dengan persentase sebesar 90.8%; (2) profesionalisme guru pendidikan agama Islam se-Kabupaten Bantul berada pada kriteria baik dengan persentase sebesar 83,74%; (3) hasil uji korelasi menunjukan signifikansi 0.957, sehingga dapat disimpulkan tidak ada hubungan antara kinerja pengawas dengan profesionalisme guru pendidikan agama Islam sekolah dasar se-Kabupaten Bantul.

ABSTRACT
This research is aimed at: (1) recognizing the supervisor’sperformance; (2) recognizing teacher’s professionalism; (3) measuring the correlation between the supervisor’s performanceand the Islamic education teacher’s professionalismof elementary school in the regency of Bantul.
This research is a quantitative descriptive of correlational model. The population of this research were 9 supervisors and 492 Islamic education teachers of elementary school in the regency of Bantul. The sampling technique was done through area probably sample, in as much as 36 teachers. The data gathering was done through interview and questionnaire. The data was then analyzed using correlation analysis of product moment.
This research resulted in (1) the Islamic education supervisor’s performancein the region of Bantul is in a good criterion with the percentage of 90,8%; (2) the Islamic education teacher’s professionalismin the region of Bantul is in a good criterion with the percentage of 83,74%; (3) the correlation test indicates 0,957 significances. Thus, it can be concluded that there is correlation between the supervisor’s performanceand the Islamic education teacher’sprofessionalism of elementary school in the regency of Bantul.
