TINGKAT KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI ANTARPROFESI MAHASISWA FARMASI DAN ILMU KEPERAWATAN PADA PEMBELAJARAN INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION(IPE) FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN DAN ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH YO

Terwujudnya pelayanan kesehatan yang efektif didasarkan pada adanya praktik kolaborasi profesi kesehatan yang kompeten dan mampu bekerjasama dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Pelayanan kesehatan yang efektif dapat mengurangi tingkat kejadian pada medication error. Salah satu kompetensi yang mendukung diantaranya adalah kemampuan komunikasi antar profesi kesehatan. Interprofessional Education adalah program pembelajaran yang memberikan kesempatan mahasiswa dalam praktek pada tingkat kemampuan komunikasi yang menjadi komponen penting dalam terciptanya pelayanan efektif antar profesi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan komunikasi antar profesi mahasiswa farmasi dan ilmu keperawatan pada pembelajaran Interprofessional EducationFKIK UMY.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode descriptive dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probabilitysample secara accidental sampling. Sampel berjumlah 100 orang yang terdiri dari 50 mahasiswa Profesi Ilmu Keperawatan dan 50 orang mahasiswa tingkat strata satu (S1) program studi Farmasi yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Pengambilan data melalui kuesioner yang mengacu pada Interpersonal Communication Inventory (ICI). Analisis data yang dilakukan berdasarkan kategori kemampuan komunikasi yang meliputi kategori “sangat baik”, “baik”,”cukup”, “kurang” dan “sangat kurang”.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan komunikasi antar profesi mahasiswa farmasi dan ilmu keperawatan pada program pembelajaran Interprofessional Education FKIK UMY memiliki kategori ”baik” yaitu 69%.Komponen komunikasi dalam kuesioner yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah komponen perhatian dan kemampuan menghadapi perbedaan(kategori cukup) serta kekuasaan (kategori kurang).Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tingkat kemampuan komunikasi antar profesi mahasiswa farmasi dan ilmu keperawatan pada pembelajaran Interprofessional Education FKIK UMY memiliki kategori “baik”.

ABSTRACT
The realization of an effective health service is based on the practice of collaborative healthcare professionals, which is competent and capable to work in the service. Effective health service can reduce the incidence rate of medication error. One of the competence to support is the communication skills between the health professions. Interprofessional Education is a learning program that provides an opportunitiesin a practice at the level of communication skills which become an important component in the creation of an effective interprofessional healts services.This study aims to determine The Level of Interprofessional Communication Skills of Pharmacy Students and Nursing Students in Interprofessional Education’s Learning of Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University.
This study used descriptive design with cross-sectional approach. Sampling technique using non-probability sample in accidental sampling. The sample are 100 students consisting from 50 of Nursing Profession, and 50 students of undergraduate Pharmacy major that has fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Collecting data through questionnaires, which refers to the Interpersonal Communication Inventory (ICI). The analysis of data was performed based on the categories in the score of the questionnaire obtained communication skills.
The results of the study showed that the level of interprofessional communication skills of pharmacy students and nursing students in the Interprofessional Education’s learning program of Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University has a “good” category which is 69%. Communication components in the questionnaire that needs to be improved is component of attention and the capacity to deal with the differences (enough category) and the power (less category). The conclusion from this study is that the level of interprofessional communication skills of pharmacy students and nursing students in interprofessional education’s learning of Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University has a “good” category.
