Abstract
INTISARI
Gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruang transformasional dan transaksional sangat
berpengaruh di abad ini. Dimana gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan ini dapat
meningkatkan kinerja perawat.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan
transformasional dan transaksional kepala ruang terhadap peningkatan kinerja perawat
pelaksana di instalasi rawat inap rumah sakit PKU Muahammadiyah Bantul.
Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif menggunakan rancangan penelitian
deskriptif analitik dengan metode penelitian cross sectional. Populasinya adalah
semua perawat pelaksana yang bekerja di instalasi rawat inap PKU Muhammadiyah
Bantul yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Sampelnya ada 50 responden dengan
menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisa data menggunakan regresi berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikan positif 0,030 (pX0,05) antara gaya
kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional kepala ruang terhadap peningkatan
kinerja perawat pelaksana Pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap
peningkatan kinerja perawat pelaksana nilainya signifikan positif 0,009 (pX0,05).
Sedangkan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan trasaksional terhadap peningkatan kinerja
pelaksana tidak signifikan 0,386 (p-0,05).
Kesimpulannya, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala ruang efektif dalam
meningkatkan kinerja perawat pelaksana. jadi, saran untuk kepala ruang untuk
mempraktekkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional diruangan yang dipimpinnya.

ABSTRACT
The effect of first level manager leadership style to performance of associate
nurse Investigated using the leadership paradigm of Transformational and Transactional.
Transformational and transactional leadership first level manager can be influence by
performance of nurse.
The purpose of this research is to know the influence leadership style
transformational and transactional first level manager to increase performance of
associate nurses inpatient room in PKU Muhammadiyah hospital Bantul.
This research was a non-experimental research using cross sectional design. The
populations of this research were associate nurses at PKU Muhammadiyah hospital
Bantul Yogyakarta. The samples were 50 respondents by using totality sampling
technigue. Multiple regressions were used to analyze.
The effect showed a significant positive between those firs level manager
exhibiting a transformational and transactional leadership style with the performance of
associate nurse (p-0.030). The effect between transformational leadership and
performance of associate nurse was significant positive (p-0.009), while the effect
between transactional leadership and performance of associate nurse was not significant
(p-0.386).
In conclusions, transformational leadership can be increase performance of
associate nurse. So, suggestion for any first level manager to practiced transformational
leadership in their room.
