PERAN KONSELOR SEBAYA PADA LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KONSELING ONLINE KANCA INDONESIA

The role of peer counselors is really needed by teenagers because they prefer telling their peers to their parents, mentors and school teachers about their problems. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of peer counselors in Kanca Indonesia counseling guidance services. The subjects of the study were four people from the counseling service division and the education and media division with interview data collection and documentation techniques. The method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method. The result showed that the role of peer counseling in Kanca Indonesia has been well conducted where counselors could provide proper counseling services in accordance with their functions, namely placing clients to understand themselves, helping to prevent problems that could hinder self-development, helping to solve client problems professionally and helping to direct clients to explore the potential that exists in them. The implementation of counseling conducted online is in accordance with the ethics and the term and condition applied.
