Abstract

The rapid development of technology utilized businesses to promote their business to the community. The presence of the pandemic Covid-19, and demanding businesses can adapt to the circumstances and make a new breakthrough. Taman Pintar Yogyakarta as educational tours in the City of Yogyakarta last of the situation the strategy of promotion and build communication by utilizing Instagram. This study aims to describe and analyze the promotional strategies Taman Pintar Yogyakarta in the pandemic Covid-19 period March-December 2020. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods by data source in-depth interviews of analysts working together Taman Pintar Yogyakarta, analyst relations community Taman Pintar Yogyakarta, and the Head of the Unit of the Integrated Service Taman Pintar Yogyakarta as well as the study plan document promotion Instagram 2020 Taman Pintar Yogyakarta, Regulations Mayor of the City of Yogyakarta No. 63 year 2017 and No. 133 of the year 2020, Company Profile Taman Pintar Yogyakarta, and the account Instagram Taman Pintar Yogyakarta. The results showed the promotion strategy of the account Instagram @tamanpintar_yogyakarta adapt in the pandemic Covid-19 while maintaining education topics. Taman Pintar Yogyakarta plan promotion strategy incidental adjust the trends that are developing, such as notifying a variety of information related to the pandemic Covid-19 the most sought-after communities and create educational activities that can be participated by all ages. Taman Pintar Yogyakarta, held a virtual travel paid through Instagram and sell a product demo of science as a way to still get financial income in the period of the pandemic Covid-19. The purpose of the promotion Instagram Taman Pintar Yogyakarta, namely increase the number of account followers Instagram, increase profits, and maintain its existence as a tourism education science in Yogyakarta. Taman Pintar Yogyakarta utilize the features of feeds Instagram, Instagram Story, Highlights Instagram, Live Instagram, and Instagram Television as a means of promoting the content organically.
