Abstract

This study was conducted to obtain evidence regarding the direct effect of self-efficacy, work motivastion on employee engagement and the direct influence of self-efficacy on employee engagement through work motivation. The object of this research the KSP Bima Sejahtera employee, which aims to examine the role of work motivation in mediating the relationship between self efficacy and employee engagement at the KSP Bima Sejahtera company in Banjarnegara Regency. The sampling technique in this study used a cencus and colleced 123 respondents. Data collection techniques use e-questionnaires or google forms. The data analysis method used in the form of simple regression, multiple regression, path analysis and sobel test. The results show that self-efficacy has a positive ang significant effect on work motivation, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement and work motivation mediates the effect of selfefficacy on employee engagement.
