Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of workload on employee performance with burnout as an intervening variable at 'Aisyiyah Bojonegoro Hospital. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study were nurses who worked at the Hospital 'Aisyiyah Bojonegoro with a sample of 50 people using purposive sampling method. The data used in this study is primary, namely by distributing questionnaires. The measurement scale used is the Likert scale. Data analysis techniques are instrument quality test techniques and path analysis. The results of this study are workload has a positive and significant effect on burnout, workload has a negative effect on employee performance, burnout has a negative effect on employee performance and it is known that there is an indirect effect of workload variables on performance through burnout.
