Abstract

Waiting time becomes common problem in several hospitals and this condition had made patients complaints. The patients wait for a long time for a health care reflects the management of the hospital in giving service which in line with patients' situation and expectation. Service time is a minimum time to serve a patient from admission until the patient goes home. In addition, unsatisfaction of a patient closely relates to the slow health care in doctor's room. This kind of condition is not equal with the long time they have spent to wait. This research aims to describe the patient's satisfaction level toward waiting time and helath care in Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Pendidikan (teeth and mouth education hospital) Universitas Muhannnadiyah Yogyakarta. Describe the patient's satisfaction level toward waiting time and helath care in RSGMP UA'IY with cross sectional approach. The respondents were common patients in Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Pendidikan (teeth and mouth education hospital) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The data collecting technique is valid questioner to 30 respondents until 100 repondents. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method and it is found respondents' satisfaction level toward the waiting time, the health care time and also the satisfaction of all respondents toward these. The research has found the patients' satisfaction toward the waiting time before the care is in a satisfying as big as 279 from 400. 5 statement very unsatisfaction, 45 statement unsatisfaction and 71 statement very satisfaction. The description of the patients ' satisfaction toward the caring time is in a satisfying as big as 450 from 600, 1 statement very unsatisfaction, 57 statement unsatisfaction, 92 statement very satisfaction.
