The perception of Housewives in Panembahan village district of Kraton towards the Colossal Show of Mahabharata in ANTV
The "Mahabharata" show is a television drama in series adapted by Sanskrit mythology with Hindi language of India. The interesting thing about this show is the way the story is filled with intrigue, full of moral messages on good role models. The show conclude about the kingdom of antiquity and there is an element of education. The most frequently noted by informants is how the way of dressing, fraternity among the Pandavas were filled with harmony. This section is often overlooked because it is almost similar to those of that time, mutual affection and mutual cooperation between the family and so how Pandavas devoted toward their mother. Although the Pandavas are only 5 people with good manners can beat 100 Kauravas which are bad attitude, each division of the kingdom of Hastinapur and finally was reached justice.
The factors that influence the informants' perception upon the "Mahabharata" show are influenced by functional factors that informants experience in facing the problems of life and experience in raising children. While, the structural factors are motivation to watch a colossal "Mahabharata" in ANTV. The focus of this study was to determine the perception of housewives in the Panembahan Village District of Kraton towards the colossal "Mahabharata" show in ANTV. The method used in this study was a qualitative method. The informants were housewives of Panembahan Village District of Kraton as the cast of "Mahabharata" Shaheer Seikh and some of his friends had filmed in this kampong, so that according to the author, it can gain informants' interest towards the "Mahabharata" show. Methods of housewives Panembahan Village District of Kraton towards the colossal "Mahabharata" show in ANTV is perceived as an entertaining and enjoyable program.
