Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work stress on deviant behavior of employees with organizational commitment as a moderating variable of the study at the Education and Training Personnel Board of Sleman Regency. The subjects and objects of this study were employees of the Education and Training Personnel Agency of Sleman Regency. The sampling technique used simple random sampling where the respondents were 70 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. In data analysis, this research uses SPSS software to analyze respondents' answers. Based on the results of the research, it was found that work stress had a significant positive effect on the deviant behavior of employees at the Education and Training Personnel Board of Sleman. In addition, the effect of work stress on employee deviant behavior is moderated by organizational commitment at the Sleman Education and Training Personnel Agency.
