ANALISIS STRATEGI DIPLOMASI BUDAYA KOREA SELATAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN K-DRAMA ‘SQUID GAME’ DI INDONESIA

The Korean wave effect known as Hallyu has become one of Asia's greatest cultural successes. One of the instruments of the Korean Wave is K-drama. The K-drama that has becomea hot topic of discussion in the world is Squid Game. This study will explain how South Korea's cultural diplomacy strategy using the K-drama Squid Game is for the Indonesian people. This research is described descriptively by implementing the theory of cultural diplomacy and the theory of soft power. The South Korean government's support for the industrial world is a factor in carrying out cultural diplomacy strategies against other countries, one of which is Indonesia. Squid Game is one part of the softpower owned by South Korea that can improve its goals.
