Abstract

The development of the automotive world in Indonesia is experiencing very rapid development, especially in Honda cars. Cars are a means of land transportation that are widely used in Indonesia. Not only as a safe and comfortable means of transportation but cars are also used to meet the lifestyle of today's society. In 2019, sales of Honda cars in Indonesia reached 149,435 units (Fatchur Sag, 2020). So the authors are interested in conducting research on the comfort of the driver's seat in Honda brand vehicles and providing recommendations for a comfortable driver's seat, to improve driving comfort in Honda brand cars. This research was conducted in the city of Yogyakarta, by means of individual interviews and filling out questionnaires. The questionnaire consisted of 70 respondents who had provided data and researchers got the results from all the data aimed at drivers of Honda cars in the city of Yogyakarta. Based on the results of the data obtained, it shows that the impact parameters of the Nordic Body Map are bad due to not paying attention to driving comfort and driving correctly is on the buttocks with a value of 1.94, it can be categorized as bad because the buttocks become a piling point on the seat for quite a long time, if hard seat foam and seat size is less comfortable, causing the buttocks to feel hot.
