Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of financial literacy in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This study uses primary data that is distributed through questionnaires and a sample of 255 respondents using the Sample Random Sampling technique and Chi-square analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta have a financial literacy level and a moderate financial literacy level. The variables of gender, age, and study program showed no difference in the level of financial literacy, while in the income and expenditure variables there were differences in the level of financial literacy
