Abstract
The result indicated that comprehension level on religion among children of muallaf family is: unreflective (not profound), egocentric (in accordance with one’s wishes), imitative (copying other) and verbal and ritual. There are two approaches in implementing aqidah done by muallaf family, those are: 1) direct education, that is an education pattern by becoming role model, implementing habituation, giving advice, attention and punishment. 2) indirect education, done by taking children to Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an, Islamic private school, and entrusting them to grandparents. Obstacles experienced by muallaf family in implementing aqidah, include: 1) obstacles related to parents, technically due to the lack of Islamic comprehension and the limited time given by parents because both are working. 2) obstacles related to children 3) obstacles related to pattern used, and 4) obstacles related to environment.
