PENGARUH PENGENDALIAN EMOSI DAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL TERHADAP AGRESIVITAS ANTAR TEMAN SEBAYA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA MUHAMMADIYAH KASIHAN

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of emotional control variables and interpersonal communication skills on aggressiveness between peers in Class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Kasihan. The techniques used to collect data were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. From the multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that the Sig value was 0.000, which indicates that emotional control and interpersonal communication skills together at 75.5% had an effect on aggressiveness between peers. The results of the t test in the regression analysis showed that the interpersonal communication ability variable had a t count of -4.549 and a significance value of 0.000, which means that interpersonal communication skills had a negative effect on aggressiveness between peers with a contribution amount of 53.9%. Furthermore, the emotional control variable has a t count of -9.590 and a significance value of 0.000, which means that emotional control has a negative effect on aggressiveness between peers with a contribution of 21.6 Keywords: Emotion C
