Abstract
The pourpose of this study to find out how the gastrodiplomacy as strategy carried out by Taiw an in Kanda in strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries through the All in Good Taste Savor The Flavors of Taiwan program from 2010 to 2013. This research uses descriptive analysis that explains Taiwan's strategy in introducing its country at the same time. Maintain good relations between the two countries through their special food. The strategy of the Taiwanese government in maintaining diplomatic relations between Taiwan and Canada is to use a cultural festiva food as the main tools, namely TAIWANFest 2010-2013 and hold a gatherings by chefs from North American countries through the 2013 Taiwan Taste TV program. Taiwan uses cultural elements, namely food as soft power to maintain diplomatic relations and introduce the country in the international arena. This gastrodiplomacy program has had an impact on several sectors in the interest of Taiwanese food and the tourism sector to Taiwan.
