Abstract
This research aims to find out what strategies are implemented by PAI (Islamic Education) teachers in improving the learning achievements of children with physical disability in SLB Negeri 1 Bantul, and to improve learning achievements, especially in children with special needs, and more specifically children with physical disability. The type of research used was qualitative focused on field research with research location in SLB Negeri 1 Bantul. The subjects of this research were Islamic Education teachers and grade VII students and the object studied was strategies for the learning of grade VII students with physical disability at SLB Negeri 1 Bantul. The data collection method in this study used observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis used data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The exposure of data analysis used descriptive qualitative. The results of the study are as follows: (1) Implementing directly after the theory is given. (2) The learning system is individual depending on each student having their own needs. (3) Learning method tools use picture and video aids. (4) The qualification of Islamic Education teacher in SLB Negeri 1 Bantul is Bachelor degree (S1). (5) There is 1 class containing 7 students. (6) The learning achievements
