EVALUASI EFEKTIFITAS PELAKSANAAN TRIASE MENGGUNAKAN PATIENT ACUITY CATEGORY SCALE-WORTHING PHYSIOLOGY SCORING SYSTEM DI INSTALASI GAWAT DARURAT RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA UNIT II

Background: Services in the Emergency Department are health services which mean to prevent death and disability. For that,it must be pursued in promp and appropriate way and mechanism of delivery. A selection system of patients to determine the level of urgency and priority of patients handling is helpful in serving patients who come in the ED. The aim of this study was To Analyzed the Effectivity Of Patient Acuity Category Scale - Worthing Physiology Score System (PACS- WPSS) Triage In Emergency Department Of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Unit II Hospital
Method: This research is Quasy Experiment reseach which use Pre-Post Test design of PACS-WPSS triage implmentation in Emergency Department of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Unit II Hospital. Quantitative data will be analyze using independent sample t-test
Result and discussion: The analysis showed that the average pre-test response time of patients in all triage WPSS-PACS indication was 5.5365 + 2.58758 minutes. The average post-test response time of patients in all triage WPSS-PACS indication was 3.4811+ 2.02911 minutes. This means that the average response time of post-test is quicker than pretest. Results of independent sample t-test showed that there are differences in response time after triage imposed by the method of PACS- WPSS with an average difference 2.05540 minute faster than before triage.
Conclusion: There are respose time different between before and after PACS- WPSS triage methode implementation. It can be concluded that PACS-WPSS triage can fasten patient caring in ED
