Abstract

Perancangan bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menentukan bentuk dari pesawat aeromodeling fixed wing dengan material komposit sandwich yang ringan namun cukup kuat untuk memenuhi standar kendaraan udara tak berawak. Dalam manufaktur ini wingspan menggunkan material komposit sandwich yang terbuat dari kayu balsa (core) yang akan dilapisi carbon 200 gsm (skin) dengan metode vacuum bagging menggunakan resin polyester yukalac 157 BTQN. Wingspan berukuran 1600 x 200 x 20 mm. Wingspan berhasil dibuat menggunkan material komposit sandwich dengan metode vaccum bagging dengan berat 11184 g.
