Abstract

This study examines the evaluation of the homeschooling program regarding its planning, implementation, and results of the homeschooling program. This research type was qualitative with field research using Stake's model of program evaluation research approach (Countenance Evaluation Model). The data collection techniques were observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used was descriptive applying the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that (1) The Homeschooling Program Planning (Antecedent), in overall, has met the general planning criteria. It adjusts to the circumstances existing in the homeschooling scope with various distinctions of the students. (2) The implementation of the Homeschooling Program (Process) requires preparation in any conditions. The effectiveness of the program is also measured from the implementation of the previous program planned at the beginning of the situation, which should be carried out in accordance to the goals and expectations. The existing problems is used as a consideration in evaluating the program. (3) The results of the Homeschooling Program (Output) show that the homeschooling program can be considered effective since it results in significant success in the program in terms of the interest and talent which has been done
