Abstract
Learning strategies are the activities of educators and students in realizing effective learning events in implementing learning. This study aims to determine the strategies applied by Madrasah Mu'allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in the industrial era 4.0. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are observation and interviews. The research subjects were Madrasah caregivers, Ustadz (the teachers), Madrasah administrators, and 1614 Madrasah students as sample population. The research results show that (1) the learning strategy applied by Madrasah Muallimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is to use Expository, Inquiry, Cooperative and Quantum learning strategies. (2) Six Steps can be applied in Madrasah, namely; First, help students learn. Second, provide opportunities for students to develop and have aspirations. Third, strengthen character education. Fourth, improve technology literacy. Fifth, be an effective teacher. (3) The obstacles faced in achieving the human resources are many teachers who do not understand the use of technology, besides that there is also a lack of teacher workforce at Madrasahs to fill in deficient subjects.
