Abstract

The purpose of this study is: To explain and analyze the effect of work motivation on
employee satisfaction, the effect of Work motivation on employee performance, the effect of job
satisfaction on employee performance, the effect of motivation on performance through
satisfaction at PT Bank Mandiri Diponegoro Yogyakarta Branch.
The research method is quantitative with a survey. A sample of 90 employees. Data
collection techniques using a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale. Data Analysis uses path
analysis and Sobel Test. Hypothesis testing uses, Individual Parameter Significance Test (t Test),
Simultaneous Significance Test (F Test) and Determination Coefficient Analysis (R²)
The results showed motivation has an effect on job satisfaction of employees of PT Bank
Mandiri Diponegoro Branch. Motivation affects the performance of employees of PT Bank
Mandiri Diponegoro Branch. Satisfaction affects the performance of employees of PT Bank
Mandiri Diponegoro Branch. Motivation affects employee performance through job satisfaction
of employees of PT Bank Mandiri Diponegoro Branch.
