Abstract
Hypertension is a condition where the results of systolic blood pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and the results of diastolic blood pressure ≤ 90 mmHg. Uncontrolled blood pressure is one of the etiologies of complications that will decrease the quality of life. Some of the factors that can be related to the quality of life of people with hypertension are age, income level, stress, adherence to taking medication, and family support. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the quality of life of people with hypertension in the working area of Puskesmas Kasihan 1. The type of the research is non-experimental with quantitative methods and using descriptive correlational design. The approach used is cross sectional. Respondents in this research are 85 respondents and using purposive sampling approach. This research was conducted in FebruaryMarch 2021. Data analysis used the frequency test, fisher's exact test, and logistic regression test. The result showed that there was income level below the UMK are 65 respondents (76.5%), 66 respondents (77.6%) of good category drinking medication adherence, 78 respondents (91.8%) good category family support, and good quality of life as many as 70 respondents (82.4%). There is significant relationship between medication adherence (p = 0.004), family support (p = 0.002) with quality of life of hypertensive sufferers. The most dominant factor that related to the quality of life of people with hypertension in the working area of Puskesmas Kasihan 1 is medication adherence (OR=0,164).
