Abstract

Stroke is a neurological disease caused by disruption of blood supply to a place in the brain. Stroke can cause contractures that can reduce the area of motion of the joints, especially the hands. Therapy is needed to maintain joint mobility at the elbow so that contractures do not occur and increase the range of motion of the elbow joint. Therefore, to overcome this problem, there needs to be research, study, or design in the form of a Post-Stroke Self-Therapy Device using an electropneatic system. The underlying thing in the design is the recommended trapi motion. After getting a movement scheme, you can then create a system to be used, design tools, selection of components and materials to be used. The software used for the design of this trapi tool is Solidworks 2016, and FluidSIM Pneumatic. In addition to the design of the frame, the design also simulates the test of the frame structure and performs a pneumatic simulation. At the next stage, namely the process of making a prototype. The material used for manufacturing is nylon plate. While the main components used for the electrical system use the Wireless RF Module and for the electropneumatic system include solenoid valve, control flow and Air Muscle Pneumatic. The results of the design in Solidworks software are obtained from stress analysis, the maximum stress is 9.613e + 05 N/mm^2/MPa, the maximum displacement is 5.664e + 01 mm and a minimum safety fector of 6.242e + 00 atau 7 ul. It is concluded that the construction is feasible and safe, the maximum load is assumed to be 10 kg. and the air muscle component can lift the weight of the patient's frame and hands. While the results of the manufacture of post-stroke tracing tools with dimensions of 246 mm high, 110 mm wide and 220 mm long. This tool produces 3 (three) modes of rehabilitation movement, namely mode one; upward elbow movement, mode two; downward elbow movement, mode three; a combination of all modes. The results of the design and manufacture of this tool are able to make it easier for stroke patients to carry out hand rehabilitation and are fundamentally beneficial for stroke patients.
